INVESTIGATOR – WORKPLACE HARASSMENT

Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a lawyer or a member of the Ordre des CRHA, ideally with at least three (3) years of experience, to expand our workplace prevention and conflict resolution practice. Reporting directly to the firm’s management, and under the direct supervision of the Head of the Labour Law Department, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and providing consultation on individual and/or collective employment contracts, as well as workplace policies, working conditions guides, or employee handbooks.

  • Providing legal advice and guidance on human resources management and occupational health and safety.

  • Participating in the firm’s training programs on various workplace topics, including awareness sessions, mediation, and coaching.

  • Conducting investigations and admissibility assessments of complaints related to psychological harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or workplace violence, as well as workplace climate assessments.

  • Contributing to the development of promotional materials and participating in business development events related to the department’s activities.

These tasks may be carried out independently or in support of files managed by other professionals at the firm, depending on needs.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar or the Ordre des CRHA for at least three (3) years

  • Accreditations in labour mediation and workplace harassment investigations are strong assets

  • Ability to work independently

  • Good organizational skills during peak periods

  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, written and spoken

  • Eagerness to learn and a strong sense of self-reflection
